  35. To install DXCC, load the following files into your PACKCLUS\DB directory:

  37. DXCC.AOK    File provided to prevent user updates of the database
  38. DXCC.FUL    The database itself
  39. DXCC.LIS    Displayed to user if no arguement is used with SH/DXCC
  40. DXCC.NF     Displayed to user if information is not found
  41. DXCC.PRE    Indicates the information source for the database
  42.  
  43. Then, make the index file by executing the MAKEIDX utility as follows:
  44.  
  45. MAKEIDX DXCC.FUL 1000        (384 records)
  46.  
  47. Next, add the following lines to your SYSOP.DAT file:
  48.  
  49. SET/COMMAND DXCC DXCC.LIS DXCC.FUL/DXCC.IDX DXCC.PRE * DXCC.NF 
  50. SET/COMMAND/COMMENT DXCC  ARRL DXCC Country Lists -*- Current and Deleted
  51.  
  52. And, if you didn't shut down the node to install the database, type in the
  53. above two lines as SYSOP commands.

  55. Other nodes may access the database on your node by adding lines to their
  56. SYSOP.DAT and/or typing in the lines as a command.  If the callsign of the
  57. node where the database is installed is KJ9D, then the other nodes would
